Manuscript Features

This MS is retaking of A 260/6. In the PTL; it (A 1036/7) has been mentioned as a MTM giving two titiles; Garuḍapurāṇasāroddhāra and Garuḍapretamañjaryākhyāna. But, these chapters automatically belong to Garuḍapurāṇa. So, it will be unnecessary to mention it as a MTM.

Fols. 1–2 and 39– 42 are missing.

Few lines are missing on fol. 37v.

Fols. 43 and 44 have been misplaced on microfilm. It appears after fol. 65.

Fol. *58 and *100 has been mentioned twice to the two successive folios.

Fol. 91 is not mentioned but the text is continuous.

Fol. *103 appears after fol. 104.

The foliation has been corrected after fol. 54.
