Manuscript Features

This MS consists of the Sūtrapāṭha and the Vṛtti of the third and fourth Pādas of the second Adhyāya of the Cāndravyākaraṇa. Fol. 1v starts with 2.3.1, fol. 17v ends amidst the commentary on 3.1.1.

From fol. 12 onwards, the foliation is somewhat uncertain, if not wrong. However, the order of folios has remained almost intact, only fol. 16 has crept between fols. 13 and 14. Thus, the actual order of folios is like this: 1-13; 16; 14-15; 17.

On fol. 17v, after the text proper, the following verse has been written by another hand:

yad api janma babhūva payonidhau nivasanaṃ jagatīyati maṣṭake |

tad api nāthapurākṛtakarmmaṇā patati rāhumukhe khalu caṃdramāḥ ||
