Manuscript Features
This MS consists of the first Pāda of the first Adhyāya of Dharmadāsa's commentary on Candragomin's grammar.
Fols. 6-20 are slightly damaged, a few akṣaras thus being affected. On the last five folios, however, some 20 to 25 akṣaras are being lost due to the damage. The writing of fols. 2v and 3r is rubbed off in some places.
Exposure 2 shows a cover-leaf, on which members of the NAK have given some information as to the contents of this MS. NS 517 is given as the date of the MS, which figures on fol. 25r below the colophon proper. It seems to be not very reliable, though. Exp. 3 shows the back of fol. 1v, on which different inscriptions with no direct bearing to the text are to be seen. Exp. 27 below shows the back of fol. 25r with some inscriptions written by another hand, equally not belonging to the text proper.
