Fols. 1–3 (1^st foliation = exps. 3t–5t) contain the complete Śalyaparvapañjikā, fols. 10–13 (2^nd foliation = exps. 5b–8b) the last part of the Karṇaparvapañjikā, and fols. 1–2 (3^rd foliation = exps. 9b–10b) the beginning of the Gadā(upa)parvan.

The MS contains a table of contents of Mahābhārataśalyaparvan, Mahābhāratakarṇaparvan and Mahābhāratagadā(upa)parvan.

The text of the Mahābhārata is not given. The pañjikā contains merely brief summaries of the different chapters of the different parvans. At the end, on fol. 2 (3^rd foliation), page numbers (or possibly folio numbers) are mentioned, referring to later sections of the Gadā(upa)parvan.

The title pañjikā is given in the colophon of each parvan.

Each parvan begins with a different maṅgalācaraṇa.

The maṅgalācaraṇa of each parvan and a verse on exp. 2 (possibly the cover-leaf) is written in Sanskrit, and the remaining parts of the MS are in Nepali.

From fol. 3 (1^st foliation = exp. 5t) to fol. *** (2^nd foliation = exp. 7t), the MS is written in a different hand. The size of letters on these folios is larger than the that on the remaining folios.
