Manuscript Features

This MS comprises only part of the commentary called Kāśikā, to wit the portion on the second Pāda of the seventh Adhyāya of Pāṇini's Aṣṭādhyāyī. All 118 Sūtras of this Pāda are extant, being num-bered at the end of each portion. Curiously, after Sūtra 7.2.109 the scribe went on numbering 1000 to 1008, instead of 110 to 118 (fol. 31r–32v).

There is a small lacuna on fol. 31r4–5, leaving out the final portion of the com-mentary on Sūtra 7.2.105.
