Manuscript Features
This MS comprises part of a sub-commentary (commonly called Nyāsa) on the commentary called Kāśikā on Pāṇini's Aṣṭādhyāyī, to wit only the portion on the second Pāda of the first Adhyāya.
Fol. 1v starts with the commentary on Sūtra 1.2.1, the first few akṣaras being lost because of physical damage.
The following folios are slightly damaged, a few akṣaras being lost: 1; 2; 4-9; 58; 59; 61; 62. Small lacunae have been left on fols. 15r; 19v; 20v; and 50v.
Before the MS proper starts, there have been micro-filmed two other folios unrelated to the text, as well as the cover leaf of the MS. Another fol., not belonging to this MS, has been inserted and microfilmed between fols. 1v and 2r. At the end there has been micro-filmed another fol., on which has been inscribed the following in Devanagarī characters:
