Many of the folios are broken in the margins or damaged by water with loss of about 5% of the text.

The bundle consists of parts of several manuscripts. The folios up to 132, except for the inserted leaves with the numbers 220 and 28, contain parts of Mārkaṇḍeyapurāṇa.

All the others belong to various (at least two) Itihāsasamuccaya manuscripts, beside some unidentified prakīrṇapattrāṇi.
