dhyātvā śivaṃ paramatatvavicāravaidyaṃ
caṇḍīm abhīṣṭaphaladāṃ sagaṇaṃ gaṇeśaṃ
dhanvaṃtariṃ munivaraṃ munisuśrutādīn
ātreyam ugratapasaṃ manasā praṇamya || 1 ||
rogam ādau parikṣeta tato nantaram auṣadham
tataḥ karma bhiṣak paścāt jñānapūrvaṃ samācaret ||
karmmajā vyādhayaḥ kecid doṣajāḥ santi cāpare ||
kammadoṣodbhavāś cānye karmmajā daivahetukā ||
yathā śāstraṃ tu nirṇītaṃ yathā vyādhicikitsitaṃ ||
na śamaṃ yāṃti yo vyādhi sa jñeyaḥ karmajo budhaiḥ || (fol. 1v1–4)
