Title Mañjuśriyamūlakalpa

Remarks The title card photographed with the manuscript, as well as the recto of the first folio, mention several titles: Sukuṇḍaladevaputroddhāraṇaprakaraṇa and Bodhisattvapiṭaka. The latter is taken from a long title in sub-colophons in the manuscript. The manuscript was photographed as A 875/2, too. This is probably an apograph of the manuscript kept in the Tokyo University Library (No. 275 in Matsunami 1965).

Manuscript Features

This manuscript contains only parts of the Mañjuśriyamūlakalpa. The chapters (paṭalas) in this manuscript are numbered 19, 49 and 50. There is another partial chapter toward the end. The numbered chapters correspond to 24, 18 and 19 and the partial chapter in the end with 20 in Vaidya's edition of the Mañjuśriyamūlakalpa.
