śrīgaṇeśāya namaḥ || ||

athāto jvaracikitsitaṃ vyākhyāsyāma iti ha smāha bhagavān ātreyaḥ ||

vijjvaraṃ jvarasaṃdehaṃ paryapṛchan punarvvasu ||

vivikte śāstram āsīnam agniveśaḥ kṛtāṃjaliḥ ||

dehendrīyamanastāpī sarvvarogāgrajovalī ||

jvaraḥ pra‥no rogiṇā‥ ‥ ‥ bhagavatā purā ||

tasya prāṇi sapannasaya(!) dhruvasya prakayodaye ||

prakṛtiṃ ca pravṛttiṃ ca prabhāvaṃ kāraṇāni ca ||

pūrvarūpamadhiṣṭhānaṃ balakālātma lakṣaṇaṃ ||

vyāsato vidhibhedaṃ ca pṛthag bhinnasya cākṛtiṃ ||

ligamāmasya jīrṇasya auṣadhaṃ ca kriyā kramaṃ ||

vimuṃcataḥ praśāntasya cehṅgaṃ yac ca pṛthak pṛtha || (fol.1v1–6)

dāhaśūlābhisaṃkṣobha svapnanāśāratijvaraiḥ

vidahyamānaṃ jānīyāt gulmatastupanāhayet

vidāhalakṣaṇālpatve vahistuṃge samunnate

syāviṣaraktaparyyante saṃsparśe vastisaṃnibhe

nipīḍitonnate lodhra svapne tat pārśvapīḍanaṃ

tatraiva piṃḍitemūle saṃpakvaṃ gulmam ādiśet

tatra dhātvaṃtare prāṇem(!) adhikāraḥ kriyāvidhau

vahisthā pārśvaniryūti pakvaḥ śrotāṃsi saṃkledaḥ

vrajaty ūrddham adhopi vā svayaṃ pravṛttaṃ taṃ upekṣate pathyabhojanaiḥ (!)
