Manuscript Features

Available folios are 1–20, 1–14, 1–13, 1–10, 1–14, 1–18, 1–16, 1–20, 1–11, 1–17, 1–16, 1–11 (the 15th sarga, microfilmed in reverse order, from fol. 11 to fol. 1), 1–12, 1–12, 1–11.

The MS contains the 2nd and 5th–18th sargas of the mahākāvya.

Every sarga has its own foliation. The handwriting is the same throughout.

The commentary is written at the top and bottom of pages; the ślokas are written in the middle, with larger margins than the commentary. Some overflow text of the commentary is written vertically from bottom to top in the right margin. In most places the scribe corrects a mistake by inking over words, but on some occasions he rubs them away.

There is a stamp of Chandra Shamsher on almost every first and last blank page of the sargas.
