On the back of fol. (=1r) the following lines have been inscribed, possibly by the scribe himself:

On some fols. the abbreviations pari°, paribhā°, or paribhāṣendu° for Paribhāṣenduśekhara are written above the foliation in the upper left-hand margin of the verso. Two consecutive folios are numbered “19”.
There are numerous corrections as well as glosses, both between the lines and in the margins. The words glossed are marked with (a pair of) two horizontal strokes, similar to an equation mark. The respective gloss in the margin is written between two such equation marks, accompanied by the line number of the word glossed. Thus, a gloss on the word jñāpaka, occurring in fol. 1v line two, appears in the margin in the following way: 2 = etacchāstrīyaliṅgaṃ jñāpakaṃ = 2.
The scribe has a peculiar way of writing the combined letters ddha and ddhya as dhda and tdhya respectively. Thus dhde = ddhe, tdhyā = ddhyā etc. He hardly differentiates between ta and tta.
The MS breaks off in the middle of paribhāṣā 56, which is numberd “54” in the MS.
