Manuscript Features
The available fols. are: 1, 5–127, 129–166, 2–7, 9–13, 16–43, 49–53, 32–51, 53–59, 61–86, 88–101 and 1.
Foliation restarts in different chapters.
The MS contains the text from the beginning of the Siddhāntakaumudī to the lakārārthaprakriyā chapter. On the fol. 1r there is written:
vaiyākaraṇasiddhāntakaumudī
[u]pādhyāyopanāmakakusumākaraśarmaṇa idam pustakam
The last folio (exp. 83b of reel no. A 11.7-01) is a folio of Bhāvaprakāśa (a text of Ayurveda). In the folio there is written:
svasti śrīgaṇādhipataye namaḥ || ||
atha madhyamaḥ khaṇḍaḥ || tatrādau jvarādhikāram āha ||
yataḥ samastarogāṇāṃ jvaro rājeti viśrutaḥ ||
ato jvarādhikāro tra prathamaṃ likhyate mayā ||
tatra jvarasya prathamām utpattim āha suśrūtaḥ ||
dakṣāpamānasaṃkruddharudraniḥśvāsasaṃbhavaḥ || etc.
On the back side of the folio there is a table of contents and at the bottom of the folio is written:
