Manuscript Features
Missing folios are: 12–15; most of the folios are damaged in the margins but with no lost of the text; fol. 36 has suffered the loss of a very small part of the text.
The text runs from the very beginning up to the end of the 7th sarga.
The prose order (anvaya) of the words of verses is provided in the form of numbers above them, and word divisions are marked by small vertical strokes throughout the text.
The letter tu has a quite unusual form.
The MS contains a few marginal corrections and some marginal notes on almost every page.
On fol. 1r, there are six lines of an unidentified ritual text written in verse, beginning:
pṛṣṭḥavaṃśe ca nābhyāṃ ca vvṛtaṃ (!) yad viṃdate kaṭiṃ | tad hāryam upavītaṃ syā (!) nātilaṃbana (!) ///
After the colophon the following lines of verse unrelated to the text appear:
āture snānam āpaṃnne (!) daśakṛtyo hy anāturaḥ | snāvā snāvā spṛśed enaṃ tataḥ śuddhyet sa āturaḥ |
