Manuscript Features

This text is ascribed in the colophon to the Mahābhārata.

There are two exposures of fols. 5v–7r and 10v–11r.

In five or six cases the copyist places hyphen-like marks in the text to signal missing akṣaras.

The sequence of folios at the end is: 20v, 21v, 21r. Fol. 21r contains the end of the text. Fol. 21v contains an unidentified passage from the middle of the same text:

❖ paṃcamyāṃ pañcanadyāṃ || ṣaṣṭhyāṃ, vagmatīsaṃgame || …

yatphalaṃ samavāpnoti sarvvātaḥ śṛṇvate naraḥ |

gaṃgāsnānasamaṃ puṇyaṃ paṭhamānasya tad bhavet || ||
