• letter numerals in the left hand margin restart at the beginning of every section (sthāna)
  • starting from the fol. 21 of the Kalpasthāna (fol. 344 acc. to the numbering in the right margin) the letter numerals are prefixed with kalpaḥ and later on (from the first folio of the Uttaratantra) with uttara
• several folios in the Uttaratantra lack the figure numbers as well as the prefix "uttara"
• folios of the Sauśrutanighaṇṭu are foliated in the left hand margin with letters and in the right hand margin with figures, both starting with one.

• Fols 87v–88r, 93v–94r, 29 and 1v–292r are microfilmed twice.

• Among the somewhat disordered folios of the Uttaratantra there is a single-folio-long alchemical text called “Gandhakakalpa” attributed to Nāgārjuna.

An āryā verse to the left from the binding hole reads:

[siddham] vibudhārthasādhanadhiyā dugdhābdheramṛtamudvṛtaṃ yena/
tena jarāvyādhiripuḥ sa diśatu dhanvantareḥ siddham//

On the right side of the folio we read:

[siddhaṃ] gandhakakalpaṃ vyākhyāsyāmaḥ/ nāgārjunenoktaṃ/ gandhakapañcapalāni gṛhītvā bhṛṅgarājarasena saptavārānparibhāvayet/ gandhakamaṃsa 2 harītakīmaṃsa 2 madhumaṃsa 2 ghṛtamaṃsa 2 etāni lohabhājane mardayet/ ālāṅghya bhakṣayet/ sarvabhojanaṃ kuryāt/ śarīrasya kāñcanadīptirbhavati/ valīpalitavarjitaḥ jīvati varṣaśatāni pañca/ ekapalabhakṣitena kaṇḍūrogo vinaśya<ref>Read vinaśyaḥ (?)</ref> / dvipalabhakṣitena palitaṃ stambhayati/ tripalaṃ bhakṣite aśrāntakāmopadravo<ref> Read bhakṣitena śrānta° (?)</ref> bhaviṣyati/ catuḥpalena bhakṣitena valīstambhayati/ pañcapalena ⟪ko⟫ śarīrasya kāñcanadyutir bhavati [[bhavet]]<ref>bhavet is added under bhavati and the latter is not deleted</ref>/ sarvarogairvimucyate/ gandhakaklpasamāpta iti/
