Text Features This text popularly known as Kaisher Vaṃśāvalī (VK) is named here Saṃkṣiptagopālādirājavaṃśāvalī (SGV).VK was first published by Petech (1958 and 1984) in Roman transliteration and Vajracarya-Malla (1985) published its facsimile plates and Devanagari transliteration. K.P. Malla (1985) found Nepālavaṃśāvalī (VN), which he claims that VN is the complete version of VK. The text of VK is similar to the text of folios 7v1 to 11v8 in VN. Malla published its facsimile plates and English transliteration. Regmi (1989) published its Devanagari transliteration from the facsimile plates of Malla. Vajracarya (1977) published Saṃkṣipta gopālādi rājavaṃśāvalī (VS) in Devanagari from the manuscript written in Devanagari. This is similar from the beggining to the end with VN. VN is written in Newari script, where as VN and VS is in Devanagari. All three of them are abridged versions of Gopālarājavaṃśāvalī (GV). But they are not only abridged versions of GV but there is continuation of he chronicle upto Vikram Samvat 1847 pauṣa śudi 10 (AD1791= NS 911) in the reign of Raṇa Bahadur Shah. Hence here VK is named SAG, particularly gapālādi "starting from gopāla (king)" not exactly GV. We can accept considering scripts that VK (hereSAG) is earlier one. VN developed from it and VS is copy of VN.
